Enclosed Auto Shipping Tips
Do I need to use an enclosed trailer for shipping? Can I do so, if I want to?
It is not required that automobiles be shipped in closed trailers, but rather the customers decision whether they want to transport their vehicle in that manner or not. This option is most commonly used for very valuable antique cars and/or inoperable vehicles. However, if an enclosed auto trailer makes you feel more secure with transporting your vehicle, it is not a problem with most companies as long as you discuss your intention to do so with the company beforehand so they can accommodate your shipping needs accordingly.
